Trainual’s excited to hire a Social Content Manager to be the driving force behind our content strategy with a heavy emphasis on social media. This role will manage and optimize our content across multiple platforms, ensuring it resonates with our audience and stays true to our brand voice. The role involves crafting and repurposing content that not only engages but also maximizes reach, working closely with our social media contractor to create scroll-stopping posts, templates, and newsletters. As the guardian of the galaxy Trainual’s social presence, this person will jump on new trends, engage with followers, and ensure that Trainual is always part of the conversation. What you will own & improve:

    • Content development & continuous improvement You’ll lead the creation and optimization of our weekly newsletter, flywheel articles, podcast show notes, YouTube SEO descriptions, website copy, and other written content. Your goal will be to ensure everything aligns with our brand voice while boosting organic discoverability, especially across social media platforms. You’ll also manage customer case studies, support special event communications, and ensure The Manual homepage is consistently updated with the freshest content. Your focus will be on driving continuous improvement and building a robust content redistribution machine. 
    • Social media engagement & strategy In this role, you'll drive our social media presence by creating engaging content in collaboration with our social media contractor. You'll also jump on new trends, engage with our audience across multiple platforms, and support podcast post-production content, ensuring Trainual's voice resonates across all channels. 
    • Template management You'll own the entire Trainual template library, ensuring it's always fresh, relevant, and valuable for our users. From managing monthly updates to collaborating with podcast guests on crafting new templates, you'll be the go-to expert for all things template-related.

What you already know:

    • Social media. (Obvs) You have at least one social platform you’re active on, demonstrating your passion and understanding of social media dynamics and trends. 
    • How to craft compelling narratives with strong copywriting skills focused on storytelling that engages and informs your audience. 
    • How to write and edit various forms of content, including blogs, newsletters, social media posts, show notes, and website copy. 
    • How to create and manage content libraries, ensuring valuable resources are well-organized and easily accessible. 
    • Proven expertise in repurposing and redistributing content effectively, maximizing its impact across multiple platforms and social channels.

How success is measured:

    • Increased audience engagement through likes, comments, shares, and interactions on social media platforms. 
    • Traffic monitored from content to the website or app -  leading to conversions such as trials, demos, and new customers. 
    • Consistently adhering to content calendars and deadlines, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality content, including templates, blogs, and social media posts. 
    • Aligning content with brand voice and trends, introducing innovative ideas and formats that keep the brand fresh and engaging.
About the team:

You guessed it - this role is collaborative! You’ll work alongside our talented marketing team and report to Mallory Glessner, our Content Queen. I mean…. Our Manager of Content & Product Marketing.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $67,500-85,000 and will be determined based on relevant experience to the role. The role is eligible for full benefits, equity, and some other sweet Trainual perks.
