Unix Systems Administrator

San Francisco
Pivot is looking for an experienced Unix SysAdmin to lead image customization, deployment, and monitoring. We make the world's first connected home gym that uses computer vision to deliver a superior workout experience, and it all starts with our custom Ubuntu-based OS.

Working alongside application engineers, the Unix Systems Administrator will maintain our custom Linux image, creating a platform that is reliable, easy to troubleshoot, and secure.

    • Configure custom Linux builds based on project requirements
    • Create a process to clone and deploy the build across thousands of devices
    • Deploy monitoring tools to ensure in-field images run smoothly and receive updates as needed
