Maintenance, installation, & troubleshooting:

- Daily operation of LAN / WAN related communication equipment as assigned
- Local area network per IT corporate policies and procedures
- Local equipment inventory
- Backup systems thru daily checks and monitoring
- Monitor and maintain local network resources including:
- Printing
- Server disk space usage
- File access assignments for local data volumes
- Local hardware, repairs, & additions to LAN / WAN equipment with vendors
- Troubleshooting LAN / WAN problems at local site coordinated by Supervisor
- Local site installation of approved PC hardware and software
- Manage & address LAN / WAN and local issues within Corporate IT policies and procedures
- Maintain and update network diagrams and documentation
 
Provide end user support:

- Assists & monitor Helpdesk
- Support for desktop connection issues
- Assist end users with hardware & software problems
 
Communicate & coordinate with internal sources:

- Report network related IT activities to Supervisor on regular basis
- Maintain positive & effective relations with Company Associates and end users
 
Special assignments & projects as required:
- Support Corporate & departmental projects as assigned 

Requirements

    • Associate's degree in Information Technology or closely related area
    • 4+ years of IT related experience
    • Strong interpersonal skills (work well with others)
    • Network + certification or equivalent
    • PC Desktops support (MS Office 2016, Windows 10)
    • Working Knowledge of Windows Server Administration Win Server 2012 or later
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper V 2012
    • Experience configuring and supporting network switches (Extreme, Cisco)
    • Experience supporting and maintaining backup systems (Unitrends, BackupExec)
    • Experience with firewall administration (Cisco, CheckPoint, Palo Alto, Juniper)
    • Proficient with Active Directory Administration
    • Manage antivirus and security solutions per corporate policy
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
