General:
Candidate will develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.  They will analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.  Also, directs or conducts observation and analysis of personnel and work procedures to determine time-and-motion requirements of job duties. Another responsibility is to provide estimates of production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.  They will review and analyze proposals submitted to determine if benefits derived and possible applications justify expenditures.
