The United States spends twice as much as the average OECD country on health care but has the lowest life expectancy and one of the highest hospitalization rates among these countries. Over the past 50 years, health care costs have grown much faster than inflation even as consumer satisfaction with the health insurance and hospital industry continues to remain low.
We believe that Health care needs to be redesigned as a consumer-centric service. Like every other industry, we believe that empowering members with accurate and accessible information about care, quality, and pricing will drive the most optimal choices.
About this role
Health care is a complex ecosystem. We work with employers (our clients), employees (our members), doctors (our service providers), insurance companies, and many other partners (e.g. urgent care clinics) to deliver care to our members. We are redesigning this experience to be frictionless and fully integrated, so you can make reservations, talk to a doctor, get your medication, etc. with a tap on your App.
In this role, you will...
Develop a growth strategy & flywheel for our platform
How can we create mounting value in our platform and for our members with more usage?
Deeply understand user psychology and behavior design of a healthcare user
What are the journeys, needs and motivations for different kinds of members? What are the right programs and communication strategies for each member segment?
Create personalized communication and experiences and an infrastructure for growth and testing
Empathize with user pain-points and challenges and create end-to-end experiences and communication strategies that maximize member value and goals.
- 5 or more years of growth and product experience at a respected product organization
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing a high performance growth playbook
- Past experience with email and notifications programs and tools
- You have excellent analytical skills, including SQL, data analysis and A/B test inferencing skills
- Experience developing intuitive and engaging experience on Mobile Native and Web App
- You are excellent at prioritization, scoping, and execute meticulously
- You are a high-agency person. You refuse to accept the status quo and have a way of figuring things out
- You are passionate, humble and fun to work with
You must be authorized to work in the United States. We slightly prefer candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area, but are open to remote work anywhere in the US.
