Transmutex is looking to hire a mechanical engineer to perform mechanical design as well as thermomechanical and hydraulic calculations for the development of its innovative neutron spallation target. As such, you are part of the company's target unit and report directly to its head. Your principal task is to contribute to the design and testing of the target, but you also will need to coordinate with the other units such as the accelerator, digital, fuel, and systems units for a complete integration.

a. Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent,

b. 5 years experience in 3D CAD design (preferably in SolidWorks),

c. Deep understanding of finite element analysis applied to fluid dynamics, heat transfer, structural assessments and hydraulic system analysis,

d. Knowledge of spallation targets and liquid metals is a plus
