Transmutex is looking to hire a full-time permanent nuclear chemical engineer for its nuclear fuel unit. You would be exploring an entirely new approach to nuclear fuel for use in a fast neutron subcritical system for the transmutation of long-lived waste. Based on Thorium and Pyroprocessing, we are reinventing partitioning and transmutation based on the best available technologies from the leading research institutes worldwide.

a. Advanced degree in nuclear chemical engineering or nuclear physics

b. Five to ten years experience in the radiochemistry, design and fabrication of nuclear fuel

c. Fluency in English, knowledge of German or French would be an advantage.
