We are looking to hire a Customer Service and Insurance Specialist. The position requires daily involvement with current customers, the maintenance of their lease or finance product accounts, as well as interoffice support between departments. The position will join a team of employees in a fast paced, team-oriented department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Answer most in-bound customer calls and assist with inquiries, questions, and needs.
    • Follow for insurance binders on expired or canceled insurance as required by lease or loan.
    • Handle insurance claims.
    • Collaborate with internal teams including, Sales and Sales Support departments, to address customer questions and various other customer related topics.
    • Pull payoffs to address customer billing and payment questions.
    • Generate invoices for asset sales.
    • Notify customers of lease/loan expirations 90 days in advance.
    • Scan document files and other scanning projects into system software.
    • Assist with account verification for customer audits.
    • Prepare assigned weekly reports.
    • Fill in for receptionist when required during meal times, sick days, and PTO.
    • Provide Elite Customer Service to every customer.
    • Various tasks assigned by manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

    • Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
    • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
    • Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
    • Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.
    • Normal range of hearing and vision.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Valid Driver’s License with good standing MVR.
    • Well-rounded technology capability – ability to operate multiple computer programs and can learn new programs.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
    • Detail oriented, ability to multitask and organized.
    • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
    • Comfortable making outbound phone calls to insurance agents and customers.
    • Positive attitude and dependable.
    • Prior experience in the automotive, insurance, mortgage, or banking fields is a plus, but not required
    • Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
