The Director of Software Utilization is responsible for driving the most efficient use of software platforms across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of data structures and object relationship models, database schema and data modeling. Experience in the following platforms is ideal: Karmak (required), Salesforce (required), Doc Star, Rootstock, CDK, Arcadium and NetSuite.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Handle technical support cases related to key systems through phone and email submission.
    • Evaluate system potential through assessing compatibility of new programs with existing programs.
    • Improve existing programs by evaluating objectives and specifications, reviewing proposed changes and making recommendations.
    • Maintain organization confidence by keeping information confidential.
    • Preparing reference material for users by drafting operation instructions.
    • Administer Salesforce environment.
    • Serve as the keeper of Salesforce (Classic and Lightning versions) managing the creation and maintenance of SFDC custom objects, record types, formula fields, page layouts, approval processes, alerts, workflow, visual flow, process builder business rules, user maintenance, sandboxes, and similar types of settings.
    • Maintain the integrity of the data in Salesforce and manage cleanup efforts.
    • Create and maintain reports and dashboards for Transwest management and develop processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
    • Display knowledge and experience in creating and editing visualforce pages.
    • Illustrate strong knowledge of data structures and object relationship models, database schema and data modeling.
    • Exhibit the ability to work with product on backend integrations with each platform presented above.
    • Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users.
    • Develop training plans, materials, and documentation for users, keep materials up-to-date, and coordinate new user and ongoing training sessions via video, webinar, or in person.
    • Other duties as assigned by the manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

    • Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
    • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
    • Ability to communicate by providing verbal and written feedback in a professional manner.
    • Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
    • May require occasional lifting, up to 30 pounds.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
    • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
    • Salesforce.com Certified Administrator with 3+ years of Salesforce administration experience.
    • Salesforce.com Certified Developer with 3+ years of Salesforce Development experience.
    • 2+ years' experience with Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce.com APIs and Lightning.
    • Proficient in MS Office and Google Business Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
    • Detail oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment.
    • Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
