About The Role
As an Accounting Leader, you take full ownership of Trendyol's sales and collection accounting processes. You lead and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring timely and accurate financial closings and reconciliations across bank POS reports, SAP ERP, and internal data sources. You implement continuous automation and process improvements with a "raise the bar" mindset. By managing e-invoice and e-ledger operations, maintaining accurate inventory and marketplace accounting, and preparing monthly trial balances and analytical reports, you provide financial clarity and operational support across the organization.

Responsibilities

    • Taking full ownership of Trendyol's sales and collection Accounting processes.
    • Continuous automation and improvement of Trendyol's processes with a raise the bar mindset
    • Lead and mentor a high performing team
    • Work with tight deadline on projects and fast monthly/yearly financial closing processes
    • Ensure on-time, in-full, no error reconciliations between (bank) POS reports, ERP system(SAP), internal datawarehouse of all sales and collection
    • Strong command of trial balance with the ability to prepare monthly management and analytical reports
    • Ensure accurate system-based tracking and proper accounting treatment of inventory sales and marketplace transactions.
    • Execute e-invoice and e-ledger processes
    • Prepare the documentation of accounting files,

Expected Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Finance or relevant fields,
    • Min 8 years of previous experience in accounting, tax, audit and similar areas,
    • Experience in SAP (especially in FI Module) is a plus
    • Solid Bigdata analysis experience in complex structures
    • Experience in accounting/Tax/audit departments of Big Four is a plus
    • Having experience in the e-commerce sector is a plus
    • Experience in process optimization and digitalization and/or automation projects of accounting workflows.
    • Willingness to improve processes which are handled manually,
    • Good command of English both in speaking and writing (excellent communication skills in English is a plus),
    • High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills required,
    • Strong Excel skills, proficient at working with BigData,
    • Ability to work well in a variety of different cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships across the organization,
    • Process-oriented and problem-solving attitude as well as strong organizational skills and hands-on mentality,
    • Ability to think strategically; go beyond the numbers and to think logically about underlying business drivers and issues,
    • Open to direct feedback culture, to constant learning & development, taking initiative and not avoiding responsibility, and comfortable in a fast-changing environment,
    • Ability to motivate direct and indirect reports,
    • Preferably have a CPA certificate.
