Key Responsibilities:
- Assist maintenance technicians with routine repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform basic duties such as painting, light plumbing, changing light bulbs, and simple carpentry.
- Support with physical tasks, including moving equipment, materials, or furniture as required.
- Help maintain common areas, grounds, and building exteriors by performing basic cleaning and upkeep.
- Monitor supply inventory and notify the supervisor when stock needs to be replenished.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Respond to work orders and resident requests promptly and professionally.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies while performing tasks.
- Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in general maintenance or building support is a plus but not required.
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools and small power tools.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items, climb ladders, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if needed.
$17 - $19 an hour
This is a temporary role for the summer period.
