The Executive Assistant to the CEO will be the CEO's righthand, meticulously managing the following: Calendar management, travel, coordinating all contacts and communications, providing high-level administrative clerical support including information requests, preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.

The ideal candidate thrives in a start-up culture and easily pivots from assignment to assignment with keeping an eye on details. Additionally, the ideal candidate is a self-starter eager to learn new skills, has a resourceful and proactive work ethic with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, and possesses strong oral and written communication skills.

Due to the nature of this opportunity, this position is based 100% of the time out of our Columbus, Ohio offices and reports directly to our CEO.

Responsibilities

    • Primary lead for maintaining the CEO’s calendar and scheduling request email including but not limited to: managing calendar invites and prompt background reminders for each meeting, prioritizing the focus list of the day, responding to any CEO email requests.
    • Arrange conference calls and meetings, and plan travel.
    • Manage CEO's schedule and help keep CEO accountable for on-time attendence.
    • Prepare information, research, reports, presentations, and data, as well as maintain files, records, and correspondence for meetings that involve the CEO.
    • Manage complex office administrative work requiring the use of independent judgment and initiatives.
    • Uphold and maintain a strict level of confidentiality, both verbal and written.
    • Handle other operational, administrative and/or strategic tasks as needed for the CEO (and other executives at times).

Qualifications

    • 1 year of previous experience as an Executive Assistant required.
    • Full command of Google Suite and the ability to quickly learn other platforms (e.g. Notion).
    • Proficient with social media (Twitter a huge plus).
    • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and organization.
    • Impeccable phone manner and presentation skills with ability to manage high-level principals and VIPs.
    • Exceptional communication and multi-tasking skills.
    • Ability to meet competing deadlines while managing multiple projects.
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Ability to get things done fast without compromising quality.
