Water Treatment Plant - Supervisor
Silverton, CO - Full-Time Permanent - 7 days on, 7 days off

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Water Treatment Plant Supervisor is responsible to oversee the operation of a water treatment facility which includes the operation and maintenance of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and promote system environmental health and worker safety compliance;
- Oversee the operation of a water treatment facility which includes the operation and maintenance of the water treatment facility.
- Ensure plant operations, performance, and reporting requirements conform to operating standards and procedures, and initiate control process adjustments in response to changing conditions
- Maintain all on-site equipment in good and safe working order by performing regular inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure the cleanliness/safety of the site.
- Provide weekly, and monthly Operational reports
- Participate in weekly (virtual) client meetings
- Develop or aid in the development of standard operating procedures, safety procedures and training,
- Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and professional development opportunities for direct reports, including the supervision of up to two additional operators.
- Operation of onsite computers (PLCs) used to monitor tank levels, flow meters, pH probes, and other equipment.
- Plan and lead the installation and maintenance of future water treatment infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot operations and maintenance issues and concerns.
- Respond to alarms while on a rotation with the ability to be on-site within an hour of the alarm.
- Periodic inspections of equipment and water treatment systems to monitor proper performance of operations.
- Identify and recommend improvements to operations to ensure assigned functions are efficient and cost effective.
- Supports risk analysis and risk reviews.
- Other related duties as required.
About You
- Colorado Water Professional certification an asset.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in water or waste water treatment plant operations, or equivalent, with three years of relevant supervisory work experience
- Is in possession of a current Driver’s License;
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Previous experience operating handtools,smallmachinery,andothernecessaryequipment.
$63,278 - $94,917 a year
