We are seeking a Senior Software Defined Networking (SDN) Engineer with an active Top Secret security clearance to join our team. As a Senior SDN Engineer at True Zero, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of software-defined networking solutions, with a strong focus on Cisco's SDN components, including Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). You will also work on cloud-based networking projects to enable seamless connectivity for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of software-defined networking solutions, leveraging Cisco's SDN components, including Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
- Configure and manage SDN controllers and switches for optimal network performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SDN solutions with cloud-based networking services.
- Design and implement network security policies and access controls using Cisco ISE.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SDN infrastructure and cloud-based networking for performance and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging SDN technologies, Cisco solutions, and cloud-based networking trends.
- Provide expertise and guidance on SDN and cloud-based networking to clients and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software-defined networking, with a strong focus on Cisco's SDN solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and other Cisco SDN components.
- Experience with cloud-based networking services and technologies.
- Proficiency in network security principles and access control policies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, SDN certifications) preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
