The Account Manager will be an IT software focused sales position working with existing client contract renewals while also working to identify, qualify, and close federal, state and local government IT opportunities. As we work with our customers to solve and understand their unique IT needs this role will be critical in supporting that mission. Those responsibilities include understanding our clients unique and specific IT needs and requirements, all while supporting our client's strategy surrounding contractual, procurement, quoting, vision, and mission needs.

Job Responsibilities

    • Support existing Federal, Civilian, State, and Local portfolios by maintaining existing contract renewals business
    • Work effectively with new and existing customers to structure account plans and go to market strategy to solve their current and future IT needs
    • Work to create leads, qualify opportunities, and forecast pipeline through account research, cold-calling, marketing, event follow up, and networking
    • Build strong client relationships and trust around client's overall IT mission
    • Directly work with leadership and Account Executives to provide ongoing client value
    • Work with partners to create and drive client meeting and event registration attendance
    • Provide ongoing market feedback surrounding client priorities and needs

Desired Qualifications

    • Strong desire to learn about Fed, Civilian, and SLED software sales
    • Knowledge of IT, cybersecurity, business intelligence, and data solutions
    • Understanding of government contract vehicles
    • 2+ years of technology sales experience
    • BA/BS degree preferred
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
    • Highly motivated, team player, competitive self-starter mentality
