About the role:
We’re looking for a creative and visionary Head of Brand & Content Marketing to lead the next evolution of our storytelling strategy. This is a rare opportunity to shape how our brand comes to life across every touchpoint - from social feeds and PR headlines to brand campaigns and in-product experiences. You’ll own a unified, insight-driven content strategy that reaches, engages, converts, and inspires advocacy. You’ll lead a high-performing team spanning PR & Campaigns, Social Content, and Member-Led Content (UGC), while collaborating closely with other marketing, product, and community leaders to scale what works and deliver compelling content across the full customer journey. You’ll also bring experience in leading talent or ambassador programmes - making the most of our most passionate members, enabling them to become our most authentic storytellers and content creators.
The salary range for this role is £70,000 - £93,000 per annum
Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Storytelling
- Develop and own a unified content strategy that drives brand visibility, engagement, and supports conversion.
- Define what great content looks like for our brand, ultimately cracking the formula for content that performs and earns advocacy
- Experiment across formats and mediums (video, social, editorial, in-product, etc.) to find what resonates with different audiences, across different channels.
- Champion storytelling excellence across all touchpoints, including social, PR, emails, blog, product, forums, community spaces and more.
- Able to demonstrate and measure the business impact of content, with a clear link to commercial objectives.
- Plan and deliver high-impact, multi-channel brand campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, and growth.
- Build a content framework that maps the right messages to the right moments, formats, and surfaces across the customer journey.
- Ensure high-performing content is repurposed and distributed effectively across all relevant owned, earned, and paid channels.
- Lead our member-led content strategy - making the most of our passionate community through UGC, testimonials, and ambassador-led storytelling.
- Build and scale a structured talent/ambassador programme (currently using Duel) that empowers members to become brand champions and content creators.
- Design systems and incentives that make it easy and rewarding for members to share their stories.
- Line-manage roles across PR & Campaigns, Social Content Creation, and UGC/Talent Management.
- Set high standards for content craft and creative ambition, while supporting team development and growth.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the Brand & Content function.
- Identify and lead content-forward brand partnerships that enhance reach, relevance, and impact
- Stay attuned to culture and trends, ensuring our content is resonant, timely, and differentiated
- Work with internal teams and external partners to execute high-impact, narrative-led creative campaigns
- Work closely with the Copy Lead (a peer) to ensure content strategy is executed in line with brand tone of voice and messaging
- Collaborate with the Marketing Design Lead to bring content to life visually across paid and owned channels
- Partner with the Product Design Director to ensure a consistent experience between brand content and product design
- Collaborate with Product teams to ensure content opportunities within the product experience are leveraged
- Work with the CRM leadership team to ensure content strategy is aligned across lifecycle campaigns, onboarding journeys, and always-on email comms
- Partner with the Membership Services Director to shape engaging, brand-aligned content within customer forums and community platforms

Requirements
- Proven experience leading brand and/or content teams in high-growth consumer or marketplace environments
- Deep expertise in content strategy and storytelling, with a clear understanding of what drives engagement, conversion, and loyalty
- Experience executing full-funnel campaigns across a mix of media, including ATL and digital channels
- Strong editorial and creative instincts, with fluency in multichannel planning (social, PR, email, in-product, blog, etc.)
- Experience running talent, UGC, or ambassador programs - and turning happy members into influential advocates
- Comfortable using performance insights to inform and evolve content strategy
- Track record of producing content that cuts through and builds emotional resonance
- Excellent creative judgement, leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
