About the NOC team
We are a strong 24/7/365 team for incident response and operational support located in Lisbon Portugal. The NOC team’s main focus is to monitor our services and act upon incidents in all of Trustly’s services to minimize the impact for our customers.
About the role
As a NOC Operator, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning and reliability of our products and services. Operating within our dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Your expertise and your proactive approach to problem-solving will be essential in maintaining the high standards of service our customers expect.
What you'll do
- Work to ensure the functionality and quality of our products, which means keeping track of and resolving issues, including API disruptions, transaction failures, and unsettled deposits
- Detect, analyze, and resolve potential problems using monitoring graphs, tools, and logs to identify abnormalities in system performance or errors
- Implement effective remedies for identified issues, whether through direct fixes, workarounds, or escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams or departments
- Provide support for incident response, including identifying issues in real time, mitigating risks, and ensuring seamless recovery
- Optimize the use of existing tools to enhance monitoring and troubleshooting processes, continuously identifying opportunities to improve internal workflows and streamline operations for greater efficiency
- Utilize your strong SQL knowledge to write and optimize queries
- Work on a 24/7 schedule
