About the role
Are you passionate about optimising insights to drive business growth? We are now looking for a proactive and strategic Business Analyst to join our operational product experience team. As a vital part of our team, you will be instrumental in analysing data, generating insights, and contributing to strategic projects that span across various verticals and markets. You will work closely with the director of Operational products, Operations leadership and the Chief Operations Officer, playing a key role in driving data-driven decisions and innovative solutions. We are seeking someone with a strong background in business analytics, proficiency in SQL, stakeholder management skills, and familiarity with BI tools such as QlikSense/QlikCloud, Tableau, or Power BI.

What you’ll do

    • Drive strategic projects by providing data-driven recommendations to support high-level decision-making
    • Lead the shift towards a data-driven mindset for problem-solving and prioritisation, ensuring teams have quality data and end-to-end toolboxes for actionable insights
    • Foster growth, operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration by analysing data from various departments, identifying trends, and uncovering potential opportunities
    • Support operational teams in delivering exceptional customer experiences through data-driven insights and robust operational KPI monitoring
    • Develop, refine and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate and timely information
    • Empower Operations department with actionable insights, helping to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation and company
    • Contribute to the continuous improvem

Who you are

    • At least 3 years of experience within the analytics field, experience with the payments industry is a plus
    • A strategic thinker with a strong analytical background, able to translate complex data into actionable insights
    • An excellent communicator, capable of articulating findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels, with strong presentation skills
    • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast paced environment with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
    • Highly accountable, consistently delivering on commitments, and striving for excellence in everything you do with a customer-centric mindset
    • Proficient in querying structured data, with demonstrated experience utilising SQL in a BigQuery environment and experience exploring data in BI tools such as QlikCloud (preferred), Tableau, or Power BI
    • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
