About the FCP team
Our team protects the business, our customers, and our partners by ensuring we stay ahead of evolving financial crime risks. The team covers KYC, KYB, and Transaction Monitoring for both merchants and consumers, combining strong regulatory expertise with innovative approaches to risk management. You’ll join a group that is collaborative, ambitious, and committed to building scalable, future-proof solutions.

About the role
We are looking for a Financial Crime Prevention Director to lead our functions across the EU. This role is based in Stockholm and will take ownership of ongoing transformation initiatives, ensuring that we optimize and scale our financial crime prevention capabilities. You’ll manage experienced managers, but also stay close to the details, supporting the team in solving problems hands-on when needed. This is a critical leadership position in a highly visible and sensitive part of the business.

What you’ll do

    • Lead and develop managers across KYC, KYB, and Transaction Monitoring operations.
    • Drive the execution of our monitoring and KYC transformation roadmap, delivering both quick wins and long-term improvements.
    • Oversee financial crime risk management in B2B and B2C onboarding and monitoring, with particular focus on high-risk merchants.
    • Collaborate closely with Sales, Compliance, Legal, Fraud, and Product teams to align risk frameworks with business needs.
    • Champion innovation by leveraging automation, AI, and advanced monitoring systems.
    • Represent the function in discussions with regulators and external stakeholders.

Who you are

    • Significant experience in financial crime prevention (KYC, KYB, monitoring, AML) from fintech, financial services, or similar regulated industries.
    • Strong track record in B2B onboarding and monitoring, with exposure to merchant risk.
    • Proven ability to lead managers and high-performing teams, while also being hands-on and problem-solving oriented.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence and negotiate across multiple functions.
    • Fluency in English and experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
    • Bonus if you have experience in payments/instant payments and knowledge of AI-driven monitoring solutions.
