About the role
We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious early-career product manager to join us at Trustly - but not just anyone. We want someone smart, creative, curious, and forward-thinking, ready to take ownership of our internal tools and AI-powered workflows.
In this role, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across the company to understand their needs, explore opportunities, and help shape how we build and scale tools that improve our internal operations. You’ll work with both custom-built solutions and best-in-class third-party tools. Maybe you’re the kind of person who explored AI tools during your studies, built projects on the side, or constantly looks for ways to improve things using new tech. If you enjoy applying creativity and smart solutions to real-world problems, you’ll feel right at home in this role.
You don’t need years of experience. What matters most is your mindset, curiosity, and initiative. If you're someone who loves solving problems, sees the bigger picture, and takes action even when things are ambiguous, you are our person.
What you’ll do
- Own the roadmap and product requirements for internal tools used across Trustly
- Lead discovery processes, identifying needs, inefficiencies, and opportunities
- Leverage our AI game to introduce tools and processes that help us work smarter
- Evaluate and integrate third-party providers (e.g. transaction monitoring, KYC, analytics)
- Work on automations and internal tooling that streamline workflows and drive operational excellence
- Collaborate with both technical and business teams to deliver real value quickly
- Act as a cross-functional connector, translating stakeholder needs into practical solutions
Who you are
- You’re analytical, resourceful, and curious - you enjoy understanding systems and solving complex problems
- You’re already experimenting with tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Claude, Notion AI OR building your own things
- You’ve created projects or tested tools just to see what’s possible
- You’re confident in your thinking, but open-minded; you can take initiative, but also know when to ask and listen
- You love learning, ask great questions, and get energy from new ideas and smart collaboration
- You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where things aren’t always defined in advance
- You’ve faced some challenges in life or studies and grown from them
- You have a mindset that combines vision with practicality, you see what needs to be done, get it moving & crosses the finish line
This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their product or tech career, or someone who’s demonstrated strong potential in other creative or technical environments. We’re not looking for a perfect CV - we’re looking for the right person with the right approach.
You don’t need to know all the methods or frameworks yet, we can teach you that. What we value most is someone who brings fresh perspective, curiosity, and energy into the room.
