ABOUT THE ROLE
Trustly is looking for a Customer Success Market Analyst - Gaming to deeply research, understand, and provide insights into the iGaming and Sports Betting markets in the United States. The Customer Success team plays an integral role in Trustly’s growth, leading the post sale process to ensure merchant satisfaction and consumer adoption of Trustly products and services. Specifically, the CSMA is a key intelligence source that helps to identify trends in the marketplace, tracks legislative changes, and fully understands each gaming operator’s promotions, strategies, and their utilization of the Trustly product.


The CSMA role is a crucial part of our strategy and execution, as we look to extend our market intelligence and expertise to deliver world class solutions for the Sports Betting and iGaming verticals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Become an expert with the sports books and iGaming platforms for the top 10 operators.
    • Study the gaming industry and evaluate quantitative and qualitative information from a myriad of sources, including sports websites, data aggregators, news sites, and the sports books themselves.
    • Assemble data using Excel and data science cleaning and aggregation tools to provide insights weekly to Customer Success Managers and other Trustly stakeholders.
    • Enhance existing forecasting models that are developed and managed by our FP&A team.
    • Compare industry data with Trustly actual data to evaluate opportunities for improvement and/or expansion.
    • Perform deep data analysis, and translate your findings into senior leader level presentations.
    • Become an expert on Trustly’s payments and data solutions.
    • Anticipated travel of 25-35%.

WHO YOU ARE

    • College degree in data analytics or similar field, or equivalent experience with technical certifications.
    • Passion for all things sports related, particularly sports betting and iGaming.
    • Active sports betting experience using multiple platforms (FanDuel, Draftkings, etc.).
    • Ability to successfully manage multiple interactions, at all levels with high quality and grace under pressure.
    • Extremely data driven; ability to understand data sets and leverage this data to drive customer outcomes and adoption.
    • Excellent collaborator with the skills needed to engage across multiple teams.
    • Comfortable creating presentations and delivering them to senior executives. 
    • Intellectual curiosity, an analytical mindset, and accompanying skills with MS Excel, Data analysis tools like QuickSite and Tableau, Powerpoint, and Google Suite to generate deliverables. 
    • Proven success working in a fast-paced, dynamic and rapidly changing startup environment.
