About the Role:
As part of our expansion plans, we seek a dynamic and motivated Account Development Manager to join our Gaming Account Development team in Stockholm. This role is pivotal in cultivating and nurturing long-term relationships with prominent international clients in the Gaming vertical. You will oversee a portfolio of Trustly merchants in the Online Gaming sector, focusing on enhancing commercial relationships to drive engagement and revenue growth. Your responsibilities include maximizing Trustly's share of wallet on merchant sites, fostering product adoption, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Head of Gaming Account Development and collaborating with a team of 5 account development managers in Stockholm, you will play a key role in driving business success.

What you'll do

    • Implement up-and-cross-selling strategies to existing customers, leveraging Trustly's suite of products and services
    • Identify revenue growth opportunities within your portfolio of merchants
    • Lead commercial negotiations and other pertinent activities with clients
    • Cultivate enduring relationships and foster strategic cooperation with assigned customer accounts
    • Conduct comprehensive analysis of pricing models to optimize negotiations
    • Strive to achieve individual targets and departmental KPIs
    • Participate in industry events to stay abreast of market trends and developments

Who you are

    • A seasoned business developer with a proven track record of closing deals and achieving revenue targets
    • Possess 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development roles within fintech, SAAS, payments, gaming, or IT sectors
    • Exceptional in building and maintaining relationships across various stakeholder levels
    • Demonstrates dedication, ambition, and a willingness to go the extra mile to drive successful negotiations
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics
    • Humble yet possesses strong business acumen
    • Takes pride in delivering excellence and exhibits drive and perseverance
    • Demonstrates ownership mentality and accountability
    • Proficient in numerical analysis, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
