About the team:
In this role, we are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and proficient in banking reconciliation processes and can assist in implementing and automating a reconciliation process for America's market. Help create the process and tools needed for back end process, reconciliation, fund flows, funding, ACH, RTP and more! This associate will work cross functionally with internal and external teams. What you will do:
- Understand and be able to incorporate reconciliation differences between various money movement mechanisms like ACH, RTP, RFP, EFT, Interac.
- Ability to effectively formulate a reconciliation plan involving multiple banks and articulate clear requirements for automation.
- Participate in identifying product and feature requirements needed while handling reconciliation exceptions and mismatch transactions for Trustly internally as well as our merchant partners.
- Work closely with the Group Cash Management & Product Cash and Clearing teams.
- Work with Finance, Product and Banking teams to understand internal and merchant facing reconciliation needs (transactional and bank account level).
- Identify and write requirements needed to support settlement and reconciliation to automate where automation can be implemented.
Who you are:
- Knowledge of payment processes.
- Experience with multiple bank settlements and reconciliations preferred.
- Flexibility and ability to work collaboratively cross functionally including with technical teams.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Ability to work with little supervision and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Prior experience working with finance and banking teams is a plus.
