The Director of Sales will be a part of an exciting, fast-growing Boston-based startup. Think Uber for the construction industry.
The core logistics platform allows heavy construction companies to schedule and manage independent truck operators with a few clicks. The platform is quickly expanding into a number of different verticals within the industry and adding a number of services designed to improve the profitability for both construction companies and truck providers. Their current customer network consists hundreds of contractors supporting thousands of truckers across the region.
The Director of Sales will work closely with the Regional VP and Chief Sales Officer to grow the business. The organization has an aggressive growth strategy in place and is looking to onboard 100 new accounts nationwide in 2018 with the goal of hitting total market coverage and 100% of key target accounts.
TRUX is taking an outside sales approach which includes relationship building (including an expense account for lunches, dinners, out of office entertainment, etc) and 90% face to face business meetings. This is an amazing opportunity for an aggressive sales hustler who is passionate about leadership and wants to have significant influence growing an organization that is disrupting their industry with platform technology for the first time – platform technology that has the ability to triple their customers’ profits.
In the first year, you will manage and sell alongside your team but as the organization continues to grow and scale this position will transition more of a true management and strategic role.

Must have:
Experience in the construction, trucking or construction technology industry
Bachelors’ degree in liberal arts, business, engineering, or other relevant field
3-5+ years of proven success in sales management leading teams and driving revenue growth
Goal oriented hustler who thrives off meeting and exceeding the numbers
Process oriented thinker and sales approach
Experience developing and meeting sales KPIs tied to financial conversions
Excellent communication skills to communicate with a variety of stakeholders from C-level executives to construction business owners and contractors
