Jeeves is rapidly growing their operations in Brazil and searching for an entrepreneurial minded, ambitious Country Manager to join and scale the Brazil organization. The Country Manager will report to our General Manager of Latin America, and be responsible for closing high-value clients and growing the Brazilian market.

Location: This role is based out of Sao Paulo, Brazil and is a full-time position where it is required to come into our office in the Jardims Paulista area. #LI-Hybrid

Job Responsibilities:

    • Lead revenue expansion in Brazil, ensuring strong leadership of the Sales area, and close coordination with Marketing, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Product teams.
    • Identify business opportunities targeting mid- to large-sized businesses, enterprises, and later stage venture backed startups; consistently meet and exceed sales targets and deliver revenue growth as both an individual contributor and country team leader (player/coach).
    • Acquire high quality new clients through efficient outbound strategies (Hunting) and cross-sell and upsell existing clients by providing top-notch relationship management in a consultative setting.
    • Existing network of transferable B2B relationships preferably with mid- to large-sized businesses, enterprises, and later stage venture backed startups.
    • Optimize full sales cycle and executive effective pipeline strategy: lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, discovery, objection handling, development, negotiating, and closing including direct selling until sufficient client portfolio growth is achieved.
    • Work cross functionally to identify market segment opportunities, idiosyncratic product enhancements and operational improvements, and execute solutions.
    • Hire, train and manage the Brazilian sales team, manage and present pipelines, new initiatives, KPIs, and forecasts to both direct reports and C-level executives.
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape in order to effectively differentiate Jeeves’ value proposition.
    • Champion our Culture and Values and ensure alignment as the team and operation scales over time.

Requirements:

    • Entrepreneurial growth mindset with high energy, extreme outcome ownership, and get things done attitude with solutions not excuses.
    • 10+ years’ experience in sales or business development leadership positions within the fintech, international payments,  credit sectors, with heavy emphasis on B2B serving mid- to large-sized businesses, enterprises, and later stage venture backed startups.
    • 5+ years’ experience building, training, developing and managing high performing sales teams; have experience within a B2B or client-facing environment.
    • Adaptable and flexible with a player/coach mentality, this role will be hands on doing the work, not just managing others.
    • Experience with SME and specific verticals that require cross-border payment support
    • Fluency in English and Portuguese required, Spanish language ability  is a strong plus
    • Experience using CRMs (ex. Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.), Tableau, Google Suite, Slack,
