Requirements:

    • 8+ years underwriting experience for businesses in Brazil for credit card or corporate/spend card products
    • 3+ years of leading and managing underwriters
    • 2+ years experience partnering with sales or marketing teams to share insights which help drive qualified leads
    • Very strong written and verbal communication in English 
    • Deep understanding of data sources available to assist in underwriting
    • Deep understanding of customer financial information and which information can be considered reliable and which is most predictive of risk
    • Lending experience in other Latin American countries is a positive but not required
    • Ability to synthesize data/info into concise summary and provide defensible recommendation
    • Ability to assess underwriting processes and identify process efficiency improvements
