Summary
The role of the Social Media Content Strategist is to develop and execute inspirational and aspirational social media campaigns across all Tuft & Needle platforms in order to drive audience growth, engagement and conversion. Overall, the role will be responsible for driving and developing the voice, content and visual identity of Tuft & Needle in a very public way.

Essential Functions:

    • Oversee all social media platforms from ideation, to content creation to implementation, management and reporting
    • Creatively and proactively engages T&N’s online audience to drive brand affinity
    • Lead and advise on copywriting for social posts
    • Develop social content for new product launches and brand partnerships
    • Manage content calendar
    • Build creative briefs for original content via T&N’s in-house multimedia team and agencies and see through execution of creative content  
    • Have a pulse on the entire company’s happenings in order to develop brand storytelling and content
    • Work in tandem with influencer program to make sure UGC is on brand and effective 
    • Collaborate with content, marketing, and product to support key messages for each channel to support brand objectives, key products and product launches
    • Lead social media specialist and further develop team skillset 
    • Identify and interpret social media trends and be aware/proactive on new platforms and tools
    • Work closely with Content and SEO team members to ensure consistent messaging across all channels 
    • Maintain clear lines of communication between social media content and community management teams

Experience:

    • Minimum 4+ years in a social media strategy role within the consumer product industry
    • Proven ability to significantly drive audience growth, engagement and conversion
    • Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
    • Strong storytelling and creative thinking skills with an eye for engaging content that will resonate with existing and target customers
    • Multitasker who is well organized, possesses high attention to detail and impeccable written and oral presentation skills
    • Strong understanding of native and third-party analytics tools
    • Creative thinker who can be both innovative while execution oriented
    • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
    • Ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines
