Business Development Representative (BDR)

By placing Tulip-enabled iPads into the hands of store associates, our goal is to provide them with instant and reliable access to the product information, while also being able to transact, communicate, and collaborate in an omnichannel world.

Position Overview

As a key member of the Tulip team, the Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for generating pipeline and qualifying leads for our sales team. As a passionate and highly motivated person, you will take initiative to introduce Tulip Retail to the world, and make people fall in love with us. You are a strong communicator and thrive on achieving your goals. You will be responsible for challenging the way prospects think about their current business, and instilling a sense of urgency that Tulip Retail can solve.

What you will do:
Generate new business opportunities to fuel our expected growth while developing an effective pipeline of strategic target accounts within the Retail sector.
Ongoing research to identify target prospects by various means such as utilizing social media, press releases, industry reports, networking events and more.
Conduct high level conversations with senior executives and mobilizers in prospect accounts.
Evangelize Tulip Retail, educate the market, and challenge prospects any chance you get.
Achieve monthly quotas set by senior management.
Generate quotes and setup demo’s/appointments Participate in weekly sales meetings

What you have:
University or College degree in Business is preferred
2+ years in a BDR role within a B2B SaaS environment
Strong business acumen
Excellent problem solving skills
Creative thinker Self-motivated, Eager & a fast learner
