Position Overview:

In this pivotal role, you will report into the EVP of Sales and be a key member of the sales leadership team creating, developing and leading the overall partnership and alliances strategy. The VP of Strategic Alliances will work with Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Marketing to drive increased adoption, sales and extensibility of our platform. This includes managing and developing strategic alliances as well as technology partners including defining the partnering strategy. The VP of Strategic Alliances will play a key role in helping to define the company strategy and drive key strategic initiatives. We are looking for a creative thinker with an extroverted personality who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will like to be at the cutting-edge of creating solutions and being a face to the company.

What you will do:

    • Drive build/buy/partner analysis to enable platform and compliment product portfolio
    • Develop and manage technology partner program including OEM partners
    • Enable strategic partners for success through training, content development and support
    • Develop with marketing joint partner go-to-market plansTrain and enable sales organizations on joint offerings
    • Develop team focused on technology alliances and business development
    • Understand the business model for the partners to effectively build out joint solution/offering, ensuring all the right sales/ channel teams are fully enabled

What you have:

    • 10+ years of business development experience in enterprise applications (B2B retail technology) and/or eCommerce, ideally with a strong foundation in SaaS based solutions
    • High-energy, creative problem solver with an extroverted, entrepreneurial attitude
    • Enthusiastic personality and self-starter with a proven ability to multi-task and work under pressure without a lot of supervision
    • Proven experience in managing strategic relationships and developing new strategic relationships
    • Thoroughly understand the Retail IT landscape, Tulip Retail's products and customers, buying triggers and influencers

Additional Requirements

    • Requires C.S. or B.A., MBA preferred
    • Retail Industry experience is a plus
    • Experience in platform based SaaS solutions
