Overview
The Turing Talent Tech Careers Programme is a first-of-its-kind career empowerment programme to kick start your careers in the technology industry. In addition to a full time job, the programme will provide upfront technical training, mentorship and 12 months of continuous development in soft and technical skills. 

Our programme has a variety of open positions. This post is for a junior software developer position at one of the largest professional services firms globally. 

Visa is sponsored if you are currently on a valid Tier 4 or Tier 2 visa.

The team is an exciting, expanding venture within a global professional services firm. It specialises in the design, build and running of large-scale projects on behalf of clients for their workflow and technology needs. Specifically, the technology team works on a variety of software solutions providing efficient user interfaces, automated workflow processing and data integration services.

The Role
You will join as a junior software developer and work with a team of Solution Architects, Business Analysts and Testers to develop the intended solution for our clients.

You will be hands-on delivering the end solution, primarily focusing on:

•    Working with business analysts to provide estimates for each product backlog item/user story/task
•    Participating in daily stand ups or similar meetings
•    Taking the tasks assigned to you, and building a professional, robust and performant solution
•    Working with testers to understand and resolve defects

Required skills:
•   Experience in C#, including experience from university, personal projects, internships or any other experience
•   Knowledge of one of Microsoft SQL, MySQL or PostgreSQL
•   Strong desire for continuous learning and improvement
•   Good communication skills

Bonus points:
Professional experience of C#
Knowledge of web frameworks such as Angular, React, ASP.NET Core MVC or Web API 
SQL Server skills
Experience working directly with end users

Turing Talent Programme training will cover skills needed on the job including Angular, ETL processes and associated tools, SQL Server Integration Services, Git, AWS and JIRA. So prior knowledge is good but not required.
