About the Role
We're seeking individuals who thrive in customer-centric environments, where projects are built and improved with agility and adaptability. In this role, you'll take the lead in the full development lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance, allowing you to gain experience in constructing global-scale products. You'll collaborate not only with our business and design teams but also directly with the ML team, brainstorming ways to enhance user experience for our products and technologies. Furthermore, you'll actively brainstorm process improvements and propose methods to boost team efficiency, contributing to the evolution of best practices tailored to Twelve Labs.
In this role, you will
- Actively participate in the entire product development lifecycle, including test automation, code review, feature development, and maintenance
- Establish design systems for existing projects and address technical debt
- Participate in the development of new projects from inception, such as Node SDK and Web UI Kit
- Proactively identify and address potential technical and functional issues affecting the product
- Contribute to the growth of the team through your experience and technical expertise
You may be a good fit if you have
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development
- Proficiency in Typescript
- Deep understanding and experience with React, Next.js
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principle
- Ability to proactively identify and propose solutions to problems
- Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written
Desired experience
- Experience in developing React component libraries
- Experience building and maintaining global-scale or cross-platform web applications from scratch
- Understanding of backend and database
- Experience with developing reusable and performant UI code
- Experience in early-stage startups or experimental projects
- Strong and proactive communication skills
- Interest in AI/ML fields
