The Associate Project Manager supports the business operations of a project, while helping to maintain overall team health and workflow. The Associate PM works within the hub of a project, assuring that all the pieces of the project are accounted for and connected and that the project execution is fully aligned with the overall strategic intent
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage complex project plans, schedules and deliverables (multiple workstreams, stakeholders and engagement groups).
- Manage workflow and set a regular cadence of meetings and process to enable smooth collaboration between team members
- Coordinate project expectations
- Manage calendaring for stakeholder interviews and client meetings.
- Create a sense of calm in the team, with an open, positive, solution-oriented attitude that fosters true collaboration and teamwork.
- Cultivate a positive and effective relationship with clients and be the point of contact for some tactical aspects of the engagement.
- Assist in client communications from designing to maintaining timing plans, sharing meeting agendas and writing and following up with meeting notes.
- Assisting in travel planning and arrangements as we move back into IRL interactions
- Contribute to knowledge transfer in 21CB through project documentation and sharing rituals
- Contribute to the craft of PMing, the development of new processes and the implementation of tools to support the continuous development of our global operational infrastructure
Requirements
- 1-2 years working in a fast paced environment with combination of business and creative demands
- Success working cross functionally with various teams in an organization with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrating financial administrative excellence, tracking expenses, schedules, checking invoices and chasing payment
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
- Eagerness to learn end-to-end project life cycles and implementation
- Is comfortable in “high altitude” rooms and can appropriately communicate with clients and has the potential to learn to interact effectively with CEOs and founders
- Resilience in the face of ambiguity
- Ability to see the bigger picture while maintaining attention to detail
