We’re looking for an intern who is passionate about software engineering and technologies in general. You’ll be working closely with the founding engineering team, including the CTO and the Director of Engineering. At Twingate, we have a modern technology stack (e.g. Python, TypeScript, Django, Next.js, React, kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform) and follow the industry’s best practices (e.g. Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, unit testing, rigorous code review). It’s a unique opportunity for you to learn and master your engineering skills in a fast-growing early-stage technology startup. You’ll work on features that directly impact the company’s growth and expansion.
You’re expected to have completed core computer science and software engineering courses e.g. CS1101S, CS2103T, CP3106, CP3108, CS3216, CS3217, etc. While a good grade is a plus, we are more interested in what you have learnt and built. School projects, especially those showcased in STePS or R modules, and participation in summer programs (e.g. the Orbital, Computing for Voluntary Welfare Organizations, Mozilla Open Source, Google Summer of Code) is a huge plus.
