The Partnerships Account Manager will work with broadcasters that are reaching millions of viewers and building a career on the Twitch platform. The ideal candidate has a customer success mentality, a strong understanding of new media, a passion for live streaming, and the desire to turn that passion into a career.  This role requires best-in-class skills in activity planning, presenting, and strong communication skills in Chinese Mandarin and English. This role is based out of Taipei,  Taiwan.

Responsibilities

    • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing partnered content creators
    • Assist individual creators with maximizing their use of the platform
    • Business development, from outreach to contract negotiation and execution
    • Create, manage and execute local strategic initiatives  which provide value to broadcasters
    • Track, manage and report key performance metrics, objectives and goals
    • Collaborate with Marketing, PR, Sales, Business Development, and Content teams to achieve regional goals
    • Proactively gather feedback on Twitch products and present to internal stakeholders

Requirements

    • Excellent written and verbal communication in Chinese Mandarin and English
    • At least 2-5+ years account management experience (agency or platform side)
    • Must be organized, strategic, creative and be able to clearly communicate how plans will deliver against organizational goals
    • Self-starter mentality: must be able to effectively work independently and autonomously
    • Interpersonal skills: effectively communicating, building rapport, and relating to others at all levels
    • Goal oriented: focused on setting and exceeding personal goals, and executing against team goals
    • Capable of managing and completing multiple projects and priorities at the same time within a rapidly changing environmentUnderstanding of common online video and online advertising metrics
    • Developed understanding of the traditional and digital media sector
    • Ability to travel to gaming conventions, industry events and to meet clients
    • Must be proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google docs and sheets

Bonus Points

    • 1-3+ years people management experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or International Studies
    • Familiarity with Twitch as a user and broadcaster
    • Broadcast licensing, commissioning and/ or distribution experience in digital or traditional sectors
    • Strong existing relationships with gaming community content creators
    • Strong existing relationships with media companies in North America
    • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce
    • Experience with live video content creation
    • Previous employment at a games industry and/or broadcast media company
