We are seeking an accomplished Electrical Engineer with senior-level skills and experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing professional and high-quality electrical systems for mission-critical applications. They should possess expertise in designing schematics and artwork layout patterning, coordinating with PCB manufacturers, and leading the validation process.

Responsibilities

    • Design and develop electrical systems for robotics solutions ensuring professional and high-quality results.
    • Create detailed schematics and artwork layout patterns using Altium.
    • Coordinate with PCB manufacturers to facilitate the production of high-quality PCB boards.
    • Oversee the validation process, ensuring rigorous testing and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal system performance and compliance.
    • Design circuits with various interfaces, including CAN-FD, USB, ADC, SPI, enabling efficient and reliable data communication.
    • Develop control circuits for solenoid valves, air compressors, DC motor control and other components with precision and accuracy.
    • Design and implement simple firmware for STM32 MCU and/or Arm Cortex MCU as required.
    • Drive projects independently, leveraging seniority and experience to manage and deliver projects without constant hands-on support from managers.

Requirements

    • Extensive senior-level experience in designing professional and high-quality electrical systems for mission-critical applications.
    • Proficiency in Altium or similar CAD tools for schematic design and artwork layout patterning.
    • Strong ability to coordinate with PCB manufacturers and ensure seamless production processes.
    • Comprehensive understanding of the validation process, including testing and troubleshooting electrical systems.
    • Deep expertise in designing circuits with interfaces such as CAN-FD, USB, ADC, SPI.
    • Proficiency in control circuit design for solenoid valves, air compressors, and related components.
    • Engineering experience in electrical design of motor control, particularly with coreless DC motors and brushless DC motors. Proficiency in designing motor control circuits, including selection of appropriate drivers, controllers, and feedback mechanisms.
    • Ability to develop simple firmware for the validation process.
    • Demonstrated capability to drive projects independently, exhibiting strong leadership and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within multidisciplinary teams.
Position Location will be at Telexistence's Headquarters Office (Harumi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) or another location designated by the company.
