Position Summary

The Texas Stock Exchange is hiring a Palantir Foundry Tech Lead to own and scale our data and analytics platform, leveraging Palantir Foundry as a foundational component of our technology stack. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role that blends architecture, software engineering, and product thinking. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to build data-driven systems that power our platform. The ideal candidate is a former Palantir Software Engineer with full-stack experience and a passion for data engineering, AI/ML, and financial technology.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of solutions within Palantir Foundry.
    • Architect and build scalable, secure, and maintainable pipelines and applications using Foundry tools, including Ontology, Code Repositories, Pipelines, and Workflows.
    • Act as the subject matter expert on Palantir Foundry and advise cross-functional teams on best practices and integration strategies.
    • Collaborate with product, data, and operations teams to define business problems and translate them into end-to-end technical solutions.
    • Contribute to our broader engineering stack including TypeScript, React, PySpark, SQL, and Python.
    • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, particularly in AI/ML, and help assess their relevance to TXSE’s evolving architecture.
    • Help shape the technical culture and engineering practices of a fast-paced, early-stage fintech environment.

Required Qualifications

    • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong full-stack development skills.
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing within Palantir Foundry, ideally as a former Palantir employee.
    • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, PySpark, SQL and React.
    • Deep understanding of data engineering, ontology design, and data governance within Foundry.
    • Proven experience in system design and working with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS and Azure preferred).
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous Palantir Software Engineer with demonstrated product impact.
    • Experience working in fintech, capital markets, or startup environments.
    • Familiarity with AI/ML tooling and model deployment within or outside of Foundry.
    • Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements in financial services.
