Founded in 2019 by serial entrepreneur Ning Li, Typology became the #1 selling skincare brand online in France and operates also in Germany, the USA and Japan.

Typology is a digital-native company that has thrived in e-commerce for the past 5 years. In 2024, the company embarked on its retail journey with the opening of its first physical store.

As our Retail Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the in-store team and our spa partnerships, enhancing a high standard customer experience, and ensuring smooth retail operations. You will also overlook the next steps of our Retail development (next openings, pop ups...).

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Team management: you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and motivating store staff to maintain high performance levels.
    • Customer Satisfaction: define & implement initiatives to enhance the customer experience in-store. Follow quality metrics to ensure the ROI of your initiatives.
    • Operational excellence: oversee daily operations, deliver spotless presentation of our retail points of sale, ensure stock level, and work on continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the overall client experience. Coordinate with logistics team for smooth inventory operations.
    • On-site merchandising: propose and roll out visual merchandising plan, in collaboration with our product launch calendar, seasonality and our creative team.
    • Performance Monitoring: track and analyse store KPIs, including sales index, traffic, single products performance.
    • Spa partnerships: ensure smooth set up and ongoing operations in our spa partnerships.

    • Solid understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and customer service.

PROFILE

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail management role.
    • Proven track record in overseeing multiple stores or retail operations.
    • Fluent in English and French, additional languages are a plus.
