Typology is the first skincare brand launched by Good Brands, an ambitious project to build a new generation of digital first consumer brands. Founded by serial entrepreneur Ning Li, Typology was launched in 2019 after a seed funding round of 10M$, backed by European investors and entrepreneurs such as Xavier Niel, Marc Simoncini, Alven, Firstminute capital.
As an experienced software engineer with a strong focus on back-end and data related technologies, you will have the unique opportunity to get involved in the design and implementation of our technical stack and architecture; and work in a challenging context, as we are building tools to support strong growth (opening markets in new countries) and new core tech capabilities.
You will work closely with our Tech, Data Scientist, and Product teams.
Here are some of the technologies we work with:
-Design & frontend: JAM stacked based on Gridsome (Vue.js, GraphQL), TailwindCSS, Storybook, Figma
-Backend: Headless CMS (StoryBlok, previously on Strapi), Headless shopify, AWS, GCP, ERP built on a open source platform
-Data: BigQuery, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Stitch data (Talend)
-Design, build, automate and maintain complex ETL / data pipelines (3rd parties, internal applications) to feed our data warehouse within 3 month upon your arrival
-Support and deliver back end contributions of services, features, and applications planned in our weekly sprints
-Help on building & improving Company business dashboards
-Work with our Data Scientist to build and automate supervised algorithms pipelines with its output integrated in our stack
-Experience with database design (SQL/NoSQL) and deep SQL skills
-Experience with ETL and real-time data acquisition / processing solutions
-Experience with technologies and systems like BigQuery, AWS S3, AWS Redshift, AWS RDS, AWS EC2, and Apache Kafka
-Good knowledge of SaaS products in Big Data, Data warehousing
