About the role

The Senior Product Manager – Lending is part of the Cashflow Solutions team within Solution Design and Delivery (SDD). This role will lead the product development for the Lending offering at Tyro, including but not limited to Merchant Cash Advances (MCA), Tyro’s lending policy and any future Lending Products.

You will be responsible for developing and translating ideas into strategy and partner with key stakeholders across Tyro on initiatives and campaigns, as well as looking for opportunities to expand the current lending product suite. This role will also be involved assessing suitable partnerships with third parties to add further value to our banking products.




What you'll do

    • Develop Lending product/s, including new product opportunities and optimising existing offerings
    • Develop a blueprint to define Tyro's Lending strategy and shape the release roadmap to deliver on commercial opportunities for both short and longer-term opportunities
    • Successfully partner with senior Engineering stakeholders to build and lead a team of engineers to deliver on the strategy and roadmap for a competitive lending proposition
    • Manage the existing Lending offering and partner with internal and external stakeholders across SDD, Technology, Growth, Risk and Compliance and the wider business to drive successful commercial outcomes
    • Build and manage high-quality product roadmaps based on your vision and strategy
    • Partner with internal business teams across Tyro to identify and influence development of new services and features to drive innovation
    • Identify and work with external parties to drive innovation and expand our competitive offering in the Lending space

What you'll bring

    • Demonstrated significant experience of relevant product management, in particular in business banking and lending
    • Experience in delivering financial products in high growth environments
    • Experience in Lending ecosystems will be highly regarded, including Credit Risk and Pricing
    • Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders in a fast paced agile environment
    • Solutions focused with proven track record of balancing technical and commercial decisions
    • Strong understanding of risk management principles, assessment and controls
    • Proven ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organisation
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
    • Proven ability to motivate and develop others
