Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing

San Francisco, California /

Full-Time
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for leading Udemy’s personalization/lifecycle function for the marketing team, managing a team of two, and growing as needed to scale. With a data- and student-insights-driven approach, you will develop strategies that keep students engaged across all lifecycle stages. You will work closely with partners in Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Engineering to develop the lifecycle strategy for Udemy’s consumer business. You will make recommendations on when/where to reach students, striving for consistent customer experience across channels. Your work will support the team’s pursuit of delivering marketing personalization at scale across the customer journey, driving long-term value for students. You will build out a retention strategy for Udemy’s early consumer subscriptions - from scratch. This is a senior role within the Lifecycle & Monetization team with great potential for growth.

ABOUT YOU:
You are a leader, capable of coaching and supporting a team to drive projects forward. You are able to think strategically about the big picture, but can also lead a project from start to finish, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders. You love building things from scratch and thrive in ambiguity, finding new ways of framing and solving problems. You are highly analytical and comfortable working with data. You have experience managing deliverables for multiple projects at a time, identifying potential timeline or bandwidth issues upfront. You are laser-focused on the customer and delivering positive experiences that align with Udemy’s goals and mission.
