UEI is looking for an Oracle DBA with Oracle EBS experience to join a Global Oracle EBS Team.  This role will be responsible for a variety of DBA and Oracle EBS services.  Oracle EBS has a complex infrastructure, and the DBA will oversee system monitoring, management services, performance monitoring, capacity planning, etc. and will work closely with UEI’s Managed Service provider. The DBA will manage a Weekly Change Management meeting with the Managed Service provider and UEI’s internal EBS team. The DBA will assist the Business Analyst and Developers to create interfaces, provide ETL (extract, transform and load) services for UEI’s SQL Data Warehouse, performance tune SQL code and ensure the overall EBS meets business performance Service Levels. The DBA will handle code migration and test environment management. The DBA will manage the DataGuard Services and manage the backup and recovery, including the Annual DR Testing. We except this role to be our EBS technical expert and will work with IT BSA’s to meet business requirements. A growth opportunity exists to provide leadership in our Microsoft SQL. 

 

.Key Responsibilities:

Provide Oracle DBA and Oracle EBS support services.

Manage the relationship with UEI’s Managed Service Provider to ensure all contractual services are met, EBS performance Service Levels are met, ensures backup, recovery and Disaster Recovery requirements are met.

Works closely with the Business Systems Analyst on data needs, including ETL (extract, translate and load) services for a data warehouse and optimizing SQL code for reporting.

Oracle EBS Security Model knowledge – solid understanding of segregation of duties for SOX.

Maintain documentation for internal and SOX audits

Works with Internal Audit and supports SOX compliance requirements related to auditable applications

Monitor Service Desk Tickets to promote code and EBS changes into Production.

Provide technical support for Microsoft SQL Servers

 

College degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of experience on Oracle E-Business R12, EBS Infrastructure knowledge and strong EBS Database knowledge.  Thorough knowledge of user management and system administration functions.

EBS Certifications a strong plus

SOX experience a plus

Technical expertise on EBS data and capable of writing SQL queries, ETL strategies and optimize reports

Strong team player, collaborating with key users, programmers, and other individual contributors.

Excellent presentation/communication skills.
