We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual who will work with collaborative engineering teams to develop unit and functional test solutions for HVAC controls/Thermostats. We aim to recruit a highly motivated engineering student deeply passionate about Computer Engineering. The technology evolving and the product offerings are growing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate unit tests for embedded firmware.
- Set up an automated test environment for a thermostat.
- Assist on firmware development activities where possible.
- Travels as needed.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with C/C++ or Java programming.
- Debug skills with tools such as JTAG/serial debugger, DMM, protocol analyzer and oscilloscopes.
- Scripting languages and for test automation (Perl, Python or similar) a plus.
- Experience in consumer electronics product development, especially HVAC controls, thermostats, and sensors a plus.
- Capable of working in a deadline driven environment.
- Problem solving skills a must.
Education
- Working towards a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related.
$20 - $21 an hour
