The Project Manager is responsible to lead complex projects from ideation through mass production.  This role will effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and clients, ensuring project requirements are executed on schedule, within budget, at high quality.

Responsibilities

    • Oversee and manage, with P & L responsibility, multiple complex projects concurrently at various stages of development, ensuring they meet strategic goals and project objectives.
    • Understand the universal remote-control, hospitality and home automation markets to provide innovative solutions that address consumer requirements.
    • Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets and resource allocation plans.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks / dependencies.
    • Facilitate collaborative communication between all internal and external project stakeholders.
    • Monitor each assigned project’s progress and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Motivate project teams to meet or exceed project objectives.
    • Manage the development of turnkey products based on customer requirements.
    • Execute projects defined and scoped by an Applications Engineer (AE).
    • Work with Project Managers in Asia to coordinate manufacturing deliverables.
    • Work with functional managers to ensure resource allocation for major and minor development projects to provide timely delivery of multiple products within the same time frame.
    • Manage, maintain and service key OEM accounts and relationships.
    • Manage project timelines, issues and documentation via Project Portfolio Management software (KeyedIn).

Qualifications

    • 3 – 5 Years of Project Management Experience.
    • Knowledge and experience managing projects with Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies is required.

Education

    • A technical degree (e.g. Bachelor of Science) in Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering is strongly desired, not required.
    • A Project Management Professional (PMP) or PgMP certification from PMI is higly desirable, not required.
    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s (4-Year) degree is preferred, not required.
