Position Summary
Responsible for managing the project team, project allocation, organizing project management meeting, and leading team members to ensure each project of team is completed according to the scheduled schedule (time, budget and quality)
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The duties listed below are intended only as examples of the various types of work that you may be asked to perform. 1. Ensure team project progresses are shared with the development team and management to facilitate understanding of progress and request timely support (escalating) when needed.
2. Implementing project management related key processes, e.g. NPI, Change Control Management, Project Status, etc. and providing input to drive improvement.
3. Providing regular, comprehensive, and accurate project status report (with quality, risk, planning etc.) to ensure project progress is shared with development team and top management to facilitate understanding of the progress and the request for prompt support (escalation) when needed.
4. Shaping and formulating overall project plan (including project time line, resources, etc.) with the project team and relevant outsources.
5. Managing overall project risks and mitigation plan.
6. Driving the finalization of the upfront product requirement to support the project execution
7. Driving the Quality process to ensure compliance to quality and specification to meet customer’s expectation (i.e. Quality plan formulation and review process, Design review and maturity follow-up, etc.)
8. Driving, developing and improving key processes with team, e.g. requirement management, DFMEA, DFM/DFA and CTQ resource management, NPI etc.
9.  Act as a liaison between Customer or Sales office in Japan/Korea and Engineering in US/China & factory teams also.
10. Will interpret specifications and communicate with Engineering teams within the factory.
11. Plan the production readiness for all process for NPI project within the factory, i.e. Molding, SMT, Assembly, testing, initial material supply.
12. Be responsible for tracking the progress of multiple projects on a day to day basis.
13. Familiar with project management system, document management system and ERP system, and have some knowledge of supply plan management.
14. Training Associate FPM and FPM, supervising daily works of team members, monitoring team project progress.
15. Other tasks as assigned by Senior Director.

Supervisory Responsibilities – List Teams/Groups
1.  Manages FPM Department in Vietnam under Senior Manager and Senior Director’s assignments.

Knowledge & Experience
+ 5 years of working experience in the same position.
Fluency in English/ Chinese languages.
MS Office.

Education, Licenses & Certification
1. Graduated from college/ university with a major in business administration, English language or other areas of study may be considered.
2. Other Certifications /Training preferred.
 
Work Conditions
48 hours per week.
Sitting for extended periods of time; Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, etc.
Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
Regularly travel to work.
