Facilities compliance specialist

Position Requirements:
At a minimum, the selected individual must possess the following characteristics:
·         Advanced fluency in English speaking and writing.
·         Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance or administration is required.
·         Minimum 5 years of relevant compliance processes experience.
·         Strong understanding of the applicable laws, regulations, and standards for the organization and industry.
·         Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
·         Organizational, time-management, and project-management skills.
·         Attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity
·         Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
·         Team oriented with strong leadership skills.
·         Strong time management, organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
·         Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment.
·         Excellent communication skills
 
Position Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for this position include the ability to:
·         Ensure that company complies with its outside regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal polices and bylaws
·         Identify and manage regulatory risks on areas
·         Include researching laws, standards, and best practices that affect the organization,
·         Developing and implementing policies to ensure compliance in all areas of organization.
·         Conduct audits to monitor and evaluate performance, identifying and reporting any compliance issues or violations
·         Provide guidance and training on compliance matters,
·         Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and recommending corrective actions and improvements
·         Staying updated on law, standards, and best practices on compliance.
·         Create and implement plans to improve compliance
·         Work with legal team, HR, and external auditors
·         Developing compliance training programs, for existing employees and managers    
$60,000 - $80,000 biweekly
