We are seeking a dynamic Community Engagement Manager to join our healthcare team. This role will play a crucial part in fostering strong relationships with community stakeholders, advocating for healthcare initiatives, and promoting health education and awareness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving community health outcomes and a proven track record in community outreach and engagement.
Your Impact:
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to enhance awareness of healthcare services, programs, and initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to foster partnerships and collaboration.
- Plan and coordinate community events, health fairs, and educational workshops to promote health and wellness.
- Serve as a liaison between the healthcare organization and community members, addressing concerns and feedback effectively.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create content and materials that resonate with diverse community groups.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of community engagement efforts, gathering feedback and metrics to assess effectiveness.
- Advocate for healthcare access and equity, identifying barriers and implementing strategies to address them.
- Stay informed about local health trends, policies, and resources to inform community outreach efforts.
- Develop and manage budgets, grants, and resources allocated for community engagement initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentations on community engagement activities and outcomes for stakeholders and leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
Your Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in community engagement, public relations, or related roles within the healthcare sector.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, public health principles, and community-based initiatives.
- Experience in event planning, marketing, and social media management preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
