About the Role:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and Payroll Specialist with QuickBooks experience to join our team. Since we are a small company, we also need someone who can lend their skills to other tasks when the opportunity arises.
Core Responsibilities Will Include:
AP/AR (50%)
·      Manage billing for all customers on a monthly basis and deposit all receivables
·      Record all vendor invoices in ERP system in a timely manner
·      Reconcile bank statements monthly
·      Research and resolve issues with customers or vendors
·      Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
·      Monitor customer accounts for past due invoices and contact customer to collect payment
·      Ability to generate standard reports and gather data to inform decision-making
·      Assist with monthly review of goods received but not yet invoiced
·      Adhere to accounting policies and procedures that are in compliance with US GAAP
·      Maintain accurate vendor and customer master data including W-9’s and insurance forms, as required by law
·      Preparation and filing of Form 1099’s and other year-end reporting
·      Organize and maintain vendor and customer files for required retention period
Payroll (40%)
·      Process payroll for 20 employees, including hourly and salaried employees, on a bi-monthly basis, in compliance with regulations
·      Set-up and process payroll deductions for employee benefits
·      Ensure that employee status changes are updated and entered into the system on a timely basis
·      Process garnishment calculations and compliance
·      Accurately input and calculate tax withholding and payments
·      Serve as an employee resource in regard to questions regarding paychecks, benefits, etc.
·      Reconcile payroll and validate reports
·      Assist HR with documentation for onboarding and termination processes
·      Preparation and filing of W-2’s on an annual basis
·      Organize and maintain employee files for required retention period
Other (10%)
·      Assist with basic month-end close duties
·      Processing of expense reports and ensure compliance with company policy
·      Assist in gathering information for external auditors for required audits
·      Other tasks/projects as assigned by management

About You:
·      Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required
·      Strong attention to detail, resourceful, organized & team player
·      Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
·      Experience with QuickBooks online or other accounting software
·      Experience with ADP or other payroll software
·      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
·      Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
·      Experience with working with people remotely and internationally
