Uniphore is currently searching for a Revenue Manager to join our collaborative and high performing team.

This role is a hybrid role with two days in our Palo Alto office each week.

Responsibilities

    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the revenue accounting function, including the timely and accurate recording of revenue transactions.
    • Review revenue contracts and assess appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606).
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, and finance, to review and analyze complex revenue arrangements and ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions.
    • Develop and maintain revenue recognition policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
    • Lead the preparation of revenue-related financial statements and disclosures, including revenue schedules and reconciliations.
    • Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of revenue recognition processes and controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stay abreast of updates to accounting standards and regulations related to revenue recognition, assessing the impact on the company's accounting policies and practices.
    • Support external audits and reviews by providing documentation and explanations related to revenue recognition processes and transactions.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
    • 6 years of experience in revenue accounting or related roles, with a strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606).
    • Thorough knowledge of financial reporting processes and controls, with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contracts and transactions and apply accounting principles appropriately.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision in financial reporting and analysis.
    • Experience with Netsuite or other large ERP required, (Netsuite ARM and Salesforce is a plus) 
    • Intermediate/advanced Excel skills (e.g. complex formula & vlookups experience) and ability to work with large volumes of transactional data Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
    • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively in order to meet deadlines.
    • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and at various levels within a company.
$123,900 - $165,000 a year
The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
