Uniphore, the global leader in Conversational Service Automation, is looking for a superstar Sales Director. You will report to the SVP of North American Sales and be responsible for driving our sales motion in the Central American market for a specific vertical / verticals.

A successful candidate for this position is a strong hunter with a passion for customer success, strong analytics, and exceptional communication skills.  One who can rapidly build energy, business cases, demonstrations, and proposals to accelerate business in a new segment to scale revenue from year 1. 

This is an amazing opportunity to build and shape a business, client base, culture and take a leading role within a start-up (that happens to be 15 years old and is well funded).
 
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of selling enterprise SaaS products and services into call centers, as well as experience with consultative, value-led sales motions. Must be able to effectively and independently prospect and build pipeline. Ability to forecast and effectively move deals through the pipeline with pace and quality through a disciplined sales methodology.  Experience selling into Contact Centers and Customer Experience-focused organizations to senior economic buyers is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

    • Drive complex sales cycles orchestrating your client and our team through pre-sales, discovery, and delivery 
    • Act as a key player in our field sales team to drive net new sales and expansion for your territory and build pipeline which will lead to closed sales 
    • Manage large, complex accounts mapped to the customer's mission and business issues
    • Identify new business and strategically expand revenue growth in key accounts
    • Accountable for achieving financial targets and delivering against customer’s expectations 

Experience / Qualifications

    • 10+ years’ experience at the enterprise level
    • Extensive experience selling enterprise SaaS/Cloud based solutions to C-levels with enterprise accounts
    • Proven success with transformational selling and strategy 
    • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment 
    • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data 
    • Ability to work with people at all levels inside and outside the company 
    • Strong negotiation and persuasion skill-set 
    • Experience recruiting and managing top tier sales teams
    • Contact center enterprise sales experience a plus
    • Strong technical understanding of sales tools like Microsoft Office and leading sales platforms like SFDC, Clari, Outreach etc.
    • BA/BS or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
$150,000 - $300,000 a year
The anticipated base salary hiring range for this position is:  
Non California: $150,000 base + $150,000 variable; $300,000 OTE
50 /50 split.
The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
