We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud-based infrastructure, with a focus on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and manage security measures for cloud-based systems, with a primary focus on AWS.
Ability to understand high-level code and scripting languages for the purpose of identifying viability of potential security issues.
Knowledge of Container Orchestration and Management Technologies (Containers: Dockers, Kubernetes, EKS )
Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices for cloud environments.
Provide guidance and support to internal teams on cloud security best practices.
Perform regular security assessments and audits on cloud resources to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
6+ years of proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of AWS security services and best practices (GuardDuty , CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Inspector, AWS WAF )
Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) implementation.
Proficiency in Python
Strong understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and secure communication protocols
Cloud security reviews and threat modeling, including code review, DAST , SAST.
Deep knowlegde (hands-on) with security tools integrated into our CI/CD and production environments such as SonarQube, Snyk, Veracode , GitHub , Registery services.
Strong hands-on knowledge and experience with Kubernetes security and platform.
Familiar with CSPM products , WIZ, Palo Alto Prisma cloud
Familiarity with compliance and regulation frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI , SOC2, ISO 27001).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
